Tech can be scary but it doesn't have to be.  Erik (Melisa's husband) has a background in film and they made a quick video to help with the basics. Remember, you do NOT need a lot of fancy equipment for this. Anything we recommend is purely to make your life easier.

Easy video software.  Again, there are likely going to be times when this is not even going to be needed. You may be able to do things in one take, but in times when you need to splice videos together or times when you need to edit for some reason, these are some ideas.

• iMovie (iPhone, Apple computers) FREE
• YouCut (Android) FREE with ads
• Vegas Movie Studio (PC) $80
• Adobe Creative Cloud (PC & MAC) $30 a month but it is part of a suite that includes many Adobe products. This is what Erik uses.

There are countless others, these are just the ones we have experience with. Please let us know if you find something you like and we will add it to this list. Also, again, please realize that you do NOT need a full studio for these videos. Your heart will come across, just look at the camera :)
